Jen Meyer, LPC, LMFT, CST

My goal is to help my clients find their way to more authentic and fulfilling lives. Whether it's through improving personal relationships, increasing individual self-awareness, or building upon pre-existing resiliency, I assist my clients in finding positive and pragmatic solutions to the relational and sexual difficulties that they are experiencing in their worlds. I tend to approach my interventions in a collaborative and humanistic way. Empathic support, unconditional acceptance and gentle challenging guide my therapeutic process.
I do my utmost best to offer clients, all clients, a safe space to explore obstacles that may be keeping them from their overarching life goals. Whether those goals include kink exploration, navigating open or poly dynamics or simply learning how to process and/or express one's emotions more effectively, I am here to help. I like to build upon my clients' pre-existing strengths to further promote hope and self-efficacy. My goal is to offer a therapeutic space that promotes a collaborative relationship built on trust, intimacy and empathy.
I consider myself not just open and kink aware, but rather open and kink friendly. I am constantly educating myself, both formally and informally, about open and kinky topics so that I can provide my clients with the most up-to-date information and the support they need and/or deserve.
While I do offer therapy for a wide variety of sexual and relational concerns, the majority of people seeking my assistance are coming to address one or more of the following presenting concerns:
• Affairs / Infidelity
• BDSM / Kink
• Communication Problems
• Couples / Relationship Counseling
• Desire Discrepancies
• Fetishes of All Types
• Libido Concerns
• Open Relationships
• Pleasure Enrichment
• Out of Control Sexual Behavior (aka “sex addiction”)
• LGBTQIA Issues
• Swinging Lifestyle
