Jessica Fern, Registered Psychotherapist
I am Poly, Queer and Kink friendly. I specialize in the intersection of attachment, trauma, and non-monogamy, as well as supporting couples who are transitioning from newly opening up from Monogamy to Non-Monogamy or partners who are transitioning from already being non-monogamous (i.e forms of open relationship or swinging) to polyamorous.
In general, I work with people who are looking to be more connected to themselves, others and life--people who no longer want to be limited by the patterning, conditioning, stories, triggers, attachment styles and past pains that have been interfering with their life & relationships. The foundation of my therapy is to create a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore, heal & grow in new ways. I see you as the expert of your life and experiences, and I see my role as a support, catalyst, guide and companion on your journey of transformation. I prefer swimming in the deep waters, cherishing and respecting the uniqueness of everyone's process.
I integrate different therapeutic approaches to assist you in the growth and changes you seek. My work is inspired by Internal Family Systems. Modalities of focus include: Narrative Therapy, Somatic Practice, Emotional Trigger Work, Attachment Work, Couples Developmental Model, Embodying Your New Story, Shifting Your Inner Critic, and Revising Your Painful Past.
I work with clients long-distance or in-person.
